The Union County Historical Society is always looking for volunteers to assist us in
our mission! Below is a list of volunteer opportunities currently available.
No Experience Necessary - we will train!

ARCHIVES & COLLECTIONS
Several individuals needed to sort, photograph, and catalog historical photographs in our archives.
RESEARCH LIBRARY
An individual to digitize documents for the "Members Only" section of our new website.
Develop catalogue for library holdings and new acquisitions.
SOCIAL MEDIA - POSITION FILLED
An individual to maintain our UCHS Facebook Page.
CREATE HISTORY MINUTE VIDEOS
Seeking individuals to create one-two minute videos, using their smart phones, for posting on our
new website, highlighting historical stories and places of Union County’s past and present.
PUBLICATIONS
Write or research about the history of Union County using your own ideas or ours. We have
many stories that need to be researched, documented, and shared with our membership.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Volunteers to work on planning Union County Civil War Day event (Fall 2022).
